family day

The day before Chris and I left for Ghana we decided to have a family day, just the three of us. We enjoyed spending time together with nothing else on the agenda to occupy our thoughts or our time. It was so nice, and I think we should definitely have family days more often!

We wanted our day to mostly be low-key, but we also wanted to do something memorable. So, we took Micah to the playground for the first time and let her experience swings...

I know she is a little young to really enjoy a playground, but she had fun with momma and daddy. And, we definitely had fun and soaked up every moment with our sweet pea before we were gone for 8 days.
