LeeLee is 30!!!

On March 22, my sister {LeeLee to the kids} turned 30.

We had a great time celebrating her.
If you know her, you know that she is a pretty easy person to celebrate because there is so much about her for which we are thankful and blessed.

She is loving.
She is compassionate.
She is hilarious--always making us laugh.
She is always up for a good time.
She is willing to give her time and herself to help others.
She loves my kids deeply.
She listens and loves me anyway.
She sings better than almost anyone I know or have heard.
She is wild and crazy and will always laugh at herself.
She is a people person, and everyone adores her.
She has a gift for making people feel comfortable and loved in her presence.
She is strong--so, so strong, and I am not even sure she knows it.

Basically, she is one of the most beautiful people I know, and I am so thankful that the Lord let me be her sister.  I have never known a single day of life without her, and she is the reason I was so pumped for my kids to have siblings--because my life would not be nearly as good if she wasn't part of it.
So, here is a late happy birthday shout out to my beloved sister and my kids' LeeLee.
You are loved, no doubt about it.

Break

Well, I obviously took a little break from the blog. It was not intentional, believe me, and I am anxious to get back to it. Basically, we have been living with rationed Internet...also unintentional. For the past 2 months, every evening around 7:30, our Internet would quit working completely and would not be useful until about 7:00 the next morning. So, my evening blogging just wasn't going to happen, and I got angry and gave up. I am happy to report that no thanks to our (insert sarcasm here) lovely Internet provider but only to Chris's dad we should be back in business.

And I have oh, so much catching up to do. Here just a few things that have happened since the end of March that deserve a little love on the blog:
My sister had a birthday...her 30th...and we celebrated.
Mercy Project broke another world record and raised $49,000.
I turned 28.
Easter happened.
Beckett turned 8 months old.
Chris and I went on a week long vacation--just the two of us.

And that doesn't even touch the life moments and precious pictures. So, I will do my best to catch up quickly and efficiently. And pray that the Internet will stop making me feel like big brother is controlling me. Check back soon!
